Island Fishing is a shabby time-killer developed by Jamen Lyndon and Nelson Gibbins. This game will take you to a small island to practice your fishing abilities. Picture the scene: you are sitting on a rock at the ocean, with your fishing rod prepared and all, and you are trying to catch as many fish and other sea creatures as you can. The bigger fish you catch the higher score you get. Take care not to catch any flotsam, such as rocks, shoes, or papers. Keep an eye on the time as well: if you fail to catch a fish for a long time, you will die of starvation, so you'd better be quick. Don't bother trying to use the keyboard: you only need your mouse, whose movement directs the fishhook to the right or left, and a number of continuous clicks pulls the fishhook up.
This game may appeal to those people who don't mind simplistic graphics, looking for just several minutes of unsophisticated fun. Even such players, though, would be better off with playing any of the hundreds similar flash games online and then switching to something more attractive.
In Pirates of Treasure Island you help Captain Gingerbeard find the treasures.
